One user is checking into the possiblity of having a German intern take a look at it and possbily translate it. ODBC CONNECT32 To Excel Files DBQC:\Users\SpecialDates.
A script that was previously working is now failing: SQLf - SqlState: IM002, ErrorCode: 0, ErrorMsg: Microsoft ODBC Driver Manager Data source name not found and no default driver specified. There are two different locations for 32bit and 64bit drivers: 32bit: HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST. ActiveWorkbook.RefreshAll refreshes everything, not only the pivot tables but also the ODBC queries. This will refresh the pivot table each time the workbook is opened.
The system stores a list of the installed ODBC drivers in the registry HKEYLOCALMACHINE. Another non-programatic option is: Right click on each pivot table. The auto translate text is not really readable, but I think it may be decipherable.Īnyways what could go wrong if i attempted the procedure as is? I've just updated to Office 2016 on my new Windows 10 laptop. 'Microsoft Excel Driver' is called 'Microsoft Excel Treiber' in German.
I cut-n-pasted text from the pdf and then copied the translated text back to a MS-Word document (losing all formating), but if I turn off my "in-brain grammar checker" (which work not good anyways), I think I can partially decipher the text. I was able to use googles language tools When an ODBC application makes a connection, any keywords specified in the connection. VBA/ Sub RefreshAllPivotTables() Dim PT As PivotTable Dim WS As Worksheet For Each WS In ThisWorkbook.Worksheets For Each PT In WS.PivotTables PT.
These same keywords and their values are stored when an ODBC data source is setup.
Babelfish seemed unable to recognize the pdf file ("Intralink-spy") so I think I am stuck on this path. The IBM® i Access support for the ODBC driver has many connection string keywords that are used to change the behavior of the ODBC connection. Unfortunately, babelfish could only translate around 50% and left a lot of untranslated words on the translated page. Unfortunately my employer blocks "translated web pages" so google's "Translate this page" does not work for us.
